Termed as ‘Ferrari’ by Cook’s Illustrated, Marcato Atlas has an Italian design and is famous all around the world. It is made of chrome-plated steel and includes a pasta cutter, hand crank, and clamp. It can make three different shapes of pasta: lasagne, fettuccine, and tagliolini. It rolls sheets of dough with a width of 150 millimeters and has 10 thickness ranges, from 0.6 to 4.8 millimeters (can be changed at the handle). It comes with a 10-year warranty.
It is very easy to use as you can simply attach the pasta drive motor and the desired cutting accessory and get the homemade pasta ready in no time. The rollers of the machine have a rough surface so the pasta that comes out of it is porous which helps to absorb the sauce easily. The handle helps to process the dough easily. You can adjust the thickness of the pasta to your liking from the 10 ranges provided. It is easy to clean as well. You just need to wipe it with a dry brush or cloth.
